What Your Wedding DJ Needs to Succeed
A great DJ can read a crowd, keep your timeline on track, and bring your wedding to life, but even the best need the right conditions to deliver their best work.

1. A Clear Timeline (Before the Wedding Day)
The more details you share in advance, the better your DJ can prep:

Last call or final dance details
Ideally, your DJ should receive this timeline at least 2 weeks in advance, with updates as they come in.
2. Venue Access and Load-In Info
Your DJ will likely arrive 2–3 hours early for setup. Make sure they have:

Electrical access is also critical. No long extension cords running from 200 feet away.
4. Updated Song Requests and Do-Not-Plays
