Wood Acres Farm Weddings

Wood Acres Farm is a country style horse farm that hosts weddings in Terryville, CT and has a capacity of 140 guests.

It features a wrap around porch, outdoor bar, climate controlled interior event space, separate bridal and groomsmen suites, horse drawn carriages, and rustic Adirondack furniture.

There are 4 locations for ceremonies. The expansive deck overlooking the pond, the grand gazebo, the love shack, and inside the wedding barn.

This natural landscape features native flowers and other plants that add a pop of color to your photos year round.

In addition to these homey accommodations, treat yourself to a firepit in the front of the property, play a game of cornhole on the front lawn, or go for a nature walk around the property.

One of the benefits to hosting your wedding at this location is the lack of a noise ordinance. Weddings typically start at 3 or 4pm and end at either 9 or 10pm.

There is handicap access on the left side of the wedding barn via ramp and they even have a wheelchair at the ready for guests that require assistance. There is also a handicap accessible bathroom just past the buffet room.

And while we’re talking about buffets, most of the dinners served there are done this way. The benefit to the buffet is not only more cost effective but guests can enjoy a variety of options without having to settle on just 3 options.

Wood Acres also features sleigh rides in the winter.
