Saint Clements Castle Weddings are in a league of their own.

This historic property was once the home of Howard & Gertrude Taylor dating back to 1898. The architecture of Saint Clements Castle is related back to the 16th century castle of Europe. Today it is a premier Connecticut wedding destination featuring 3 locations to host wedding celebrations.

The main castle is comprised of 2 event spaces. The Prince Edward room is located on the right hand side of the castle and is the smaller of the 2 rooms. It is a much more modern looking room that serves as a blank slate to add your own flair to. Ceremonies held in the Prince Edward Ballroom take place in the sunken garden located at the front of the property just past the entrance.

The second and larger space in the main castle is the Waterford Ballroom. This ballroom features an entire river facing wall of French doors with windows overlooking the Connecticut river. Guests are treated to cocktail hour on the back patio just outside the rear doors of the castle. The ceremony for the Waterford Ballroom is just a quick walk to the edge of the riverbank.

The last room at Saint Clements Castle is down below, riverside at the marina. This is Saint Clements newest space and was built just a few short years ago.

The cuisine at the castle is delicious, the staff is charming and accommodating, and the historic scenery is nothing short of breathtaking.
